Since Big 12 news now matters to UC, one of the longest tenured coaches in the game was just fired yesterday, Gary Patterson at TCU:

Gary Patterson out as TCU's head coach after 21 seasons

After coaching at TCU for the past 24 years, including 21 seasons as the head coach, Patterson and the school agreed to mutually part ways on Sunday.
