Guys, I just got off the phone with one of the Bearcats' most recent offers, Paul VI (Va.) 2019 four-star guard Anthony Harris, No. 86 in the Rivals150. There was some confusion, that Mick visited him recently, but it was actually assistant coach Antwon Jackson
Harris now has 14 offers, also most recently form Florida State, Georgia Tech and Louisville. Harris said he hasn't done a ton of research on UC yet. He said he actually met Jackson at an EYBL tournament last year and that his coach and Jackson have stayed in touch since then.
On Jackson's in-home visit with Harris, Jackson showed him a presentation on an iPad and went over some qualities of UC. Harris told me, "He just came and clarified everything. It was all good. He just told me how long he's been at the school, the history about it and everything." So it's very early here, but Harris likes what little he's heard so far.
Harris said he doesn't claim any favorites. He's only visited nearby Maryland, Virginia Tech and Ohio State to this point, so there's not a ton to compare to. But the one school Harris went in more detail about was VT. He seems to really like the Hokies assistant he's talked to and said they've been on him for a while.
So overall, it's certainly not too late for UC. But they might already have a little catching up to do.
