Guys, I didn't have a chance to post it last night, but I talked with one of the Bearcats' more recent offers, Simeon (Ill.) 2019 running back Anthony Williams Jr. The way UC has been successfully recruiting Chicago, it's worth keeping an eye on any offers that go out up there.

Williams currently has five offers, from UC, Northern Illinois, Arkansas State, Central Michigan and South Dakota State. This is a kid who will likely be a solid three-star level kid. He'll likely get some lower Big Ten offers and more MAC offers for sure.

The Bearcats are in a good spot here. He camped at UC over the summer and said he liked the campus and the sports medicine program, which is what he wants to major in. Assistant coach Gino Guidugli is the lead recruiter here, though coach Luke Fickell made the offer. Williams said he likes both coaches and how they treated him.

I can tell that Williams is looking at the big schools. A lot do right off the bat like Williams, but that means that if one offers, he could jump on it. And I'm not sure he gets to that level. The other schools he's visited are Michigan, Michigan State, USC, UCLA, Purdue and Minnesota. The Spartans seem to be the one he's really hoping an offer will come from.

Williams didn't mention any plans to visit UC this fall, but I'd imagine he likely gets to a game. No visits set, but he said he wants to visit Michigan State and Central Michigan.

Full story coming.
