Hey guys, just had a conversation with one of UC's BIGGEST visitors in a while, Rivals100 OL Cayden Green, who visited UC over the weekend. He told me he's up to 32 offers now.

First off, this kid is a borderline five-star. Might get there this fall depending on how his summer goes. This was the first time he'd been to Clifton. And I'm not sure if he just thought UC would roll out the red carpet for him or what. Green was the only visitor there, as it was a dead weekend for coaches, as far as being on campus. Everyone was pretty much out recruiting. Max Stienecker and Pat Lambert were both there to greet Green and his family and show him around. But he just sounded disappointed that it wasn't more, for some reason.

Green said he did meet new OL coach Mike Cummings, who literally was on his first couple of days on the job. Green said Cummings came and introduced himself, talked with Green and his family and took time from house hunting to do so, which seems to have made a big impression. Green said he and his family went to a restaurant suggested by Lambert and Stienecker that had macaroni and BBQ brisket, but he couldn't remember what it was. I asked if it was Montgomery Inn, but he wasn't sure. He talked more about that than anything. Overall, good sign that he visited and we'll see what happens when Cummings gets settled and really pushes, but right now, I don't think UC made up too much ground on this visit.

Green told me his top two right now are Michigan and Oklahoma. He visited Michigan Jan. 15 for a junior day and loved it. He also told me he's originally from Oklahoma and has a lot of family there. But the one that could change things is Alabama. No offer there yet, but he'll be there this weekend and I'd expect Green to have one by the time he leaves. That's the one he said he really wants, so that would probably make a top three if the offer comes.

I do think UC could still get an official visit, but that's not set in stone. He told me he'd like to decide this summer, so he'll be taking the visits he does take very early on.

Full story coming.
