Guys, I spoke last night with one of the Bearcats' recent offers, three-star tight end Danny Lewis. He has 12 offers so far, a list that also includes Arizona State, Memphis and Virginia.

Lewis said he's still never set foot on a college campus before. He's taken just one virtual visit, to Arizona State three weeks ago. And partly because of that, the Sun Devils are the early leader here. Lewis said he also has a good relationship with a few of the coaches there. He said he texts almost daily with tight ends coach Adam Breneman. The NCAA has at least allowed contact with these guys, just not in-person. And that's opened things up somewhat.

With UC, assistant coach Perry Eliano made the offer. He's been offering a TON of guys here recently. Lewis said the only things he knows are that UC has won a lot recently and has put tight ends in the NFL, though he didn't mention Travis Kelce or Josiah Deguara by name. Lewis also said he's planning on having a virtual visit with the Bearcats sometime over the next week. And that he likes how Eliano told him about how he could be used in the offense, how UC likes using tight ends a lot in the offense.

Right now, Lewis has no favorites and doesn't want to name any since he hasn't visited anywhere. But the three he said are standing out a bit so far are ASU, UC and Memphis, though he doesn't know much about the latter either. Again, ASU the early favorite, but long way to go here.

Full story coming.
