It's not uncommon for guys to continue to get recruited after they make a commit somewhere. But of all of UC's current commits, the guy who's arguably been pursued hardest is three-star DT Garrison Butler. He got offered by NC State right after he'd committed to UC and Minnesota has also still been pushing hard. Louisville has been sniffing around, too.
Butler had loosely planned to visit Minnesota last weekend for an official and I'm told he cancelled it. NC State had also hoped to get him this weekend for an official visit. Our friend Jacey Zembal, who runs The Wolfpack Central, Rivals' site covering NC State, reached out to Butler to see if he was still visiting. Zembal said Butler told him he's cancelled the visit with the Wolfpack. "He says he's firm with Cincy," Zembal told me.
So, not out of the woods yet, but sounds like Butler is set on UC for now.
