Guys, I caught up with one of UC's higher priorities for 2022 still, three-star OL Isaiah Jones. He has nine offers, most recently from Duke, Wake Forest and Buffalo.

Jones has actually already been to UC once in-person, last month on his own with his family. And right now, that's the only visit he's taken. Jones said he has some family in the Cincinnati area and two of his cousins actually went on campus with him, who go to UC, to show him around. That seems to be a big factor, having family nearby. Jones also really likes coach Luke Fickell and the success the Bearcats have had over the past few seasons.

Defensive coordinator Mike Tressel is the primary recruiter here. It was Marcus Freeman, but Jones said he liked that Tressel called him within a day or so of being hired at UC. Jones also likes Tressel's personality and how he is as a coach. Sounds like they're pretty tight.

I think Wake Forest is the one to watch for here. Again, because of family. He has family in Winston-Salem and said he'll be visiting there and Duke soon. That might not happen until the dead period ends, however, in June. It really helps that he's been to UC already. And having the cousins at UC is also big. I don't think this one is over, but I do think the Bearcats are the favorites right now, pending how that visit to North Carolina goes.

Full story coming.
