Guys, talked to another of the Bearcats' official visitors from this past weekend, Northmont (OH) three-star defensive end Jaiden Cameron. He arrived Saturday afternoon and just left this morning.
Another target UC has a great shot with. Cameron told me he's now been to UC seven times: a game last fall, camp last summer, a basketball game in January, the spring game and two spring practices. So there's some big interest here already. And this time, Cameron said he really liked spending more time with the current players, as well as the other recruits visiting.
Defensive coordinator Marcus Freeman has been the main recruiter here. Part of that has been Freeman's familiarity with Wayne and Huber Heights, including the Dayton area. "He’s just a really good, cool coach," Cameron told me. "I like him as a person and a coach. His morals are good and he seems like a good guy."
This coming weekend, Cameron will officially visit Minnesota and June 21, he'll officially visit Michigan State. He does like both schools, so the visits will be interesting. But still, the visits will be interesting. Cameron's grandmother will be making both trips with him and you can tell, that's who could swing this decision. Let's just say she can get to UC much easier. I think that's a huge factor here. But the visits could still sway him. Cameron said he's looking at July or August for a decision.
Full story coming.
