Guys, I'll post a running list in a bit, but the Bearcats have offered a TON of guys over the past couple of weeks, with the open period now in full swing. I caught up with one of those guys, LB Jake Chaney last night.

Iowa State was the first offer, just before Christmas, but over the past few weeks, UC, Wisconsin, Indiana and FIU have all offered. Pittsburgh just offered this morning, so I don't have anything on that one, but I don't think it will move the needle too much. What I can tell you is Chaney and I talked a lot about how he doesn't like the cold, but would go wherever if need be. That said, if one of the big Florida schools offers, that will be hands down the favorite.

With the Bearcats, Chaney mentioned how he knows about their success over the past few seasons. He told me he likes what he's seen with the school, the program and the facilities. Assistant coach Doug Phillips is the primary recruiter here. They haven't talked a ton, but Chaney told me, "He kept it honest with me. I don’t get any bad vibes from him."

I do think this is a kid who could commit rather early, which could lead to a decommitment at some point. Just seems like one of those situations. I think Wisconsin is in the lead, but we'll see. He hasn't been up there yet and is adding offers before he does get to Madison, so that could change a lot.

I'll keep y'all posted, but full story coming.
