Guys, I spoke earlier with Indian Hills (OH) 2019 DE Jalen Thornton. He's up to six offers now, from UC, West Virginia, Kentucky, Marshall, Toledo and Iowa State. The Bearcats offered back in June at one of their camps.

Thornton is the son of former Cincinnati Bengals DT John Thornton, who played with the Bengals from 2003-08. That's why they live in the Cincy area. The elder Thornton also played at West Virginia, which makes Jalen a legacy there.
There's a lot of connections here with WV. Aside from his dad, his mom also went to school there and his grandparents lived there for a while. Jalen said "it does make a difference," being a legacy, but he said he's not sold there by any means. He did visit there over the summer.
With the Bearcats, Jalen said he has a great relationship with assistant coach Al Washington. He likes how Washington has checked in on him so much and has wished him luck at games. Jalen also likes how Washington coaches too.
No visits set and sounds like he won't visit anywhere until after his junior season. The only exception could be if he goes to a UC game. The Bearcats will stay in this one for a while, but West Virginia is a big time contender here.
Full story coming.
