Guys, I talked last night with one of the Bearcats' final targets for the 2019 class, Jackson Academy (Miss.) three-star quarterback Kinkead Dent. I know Cincinnati has made a push for him. And this one won't go until February, as Dent said he plans to graduate in December and enroll in the spring at the college he picks.

First off, Dent has basically narrowed his list (very tentatively) to Colorado State, Cincinnati, Tulane and Louisiana Tech. I say tentatively, because Indiana has also been in contact, as have Georgia and Purdue. So there's a lot of moving parts here. It's definitely one of those cases where Dent has his eyes on playing for a power five school and right now, none have offered.

The most likely to offer, it sounds like, is Indiana. Dent said the Hoosiers have told him if he visits, he'll likely get offered. But key there, since they didn't promise an offer. He's definitely a fallback option for Georgia and with Purdue, that one is a wait and see on numbers. So that's not a definite either.

With Cincinnati, Dent has not visited, but he's kept in touch with assistant coach Gino Guidugli, who just went to one of his practices a couple of weeks ago. The Bearcats have been trying to get Dent to visit, but it sounds like if that happens, it won't be until the first week or so of December.

Dent said he likes what Cincinnati has done this season and he likes the look of the facilities. Despite having no idea how to pronounce Guidugli's last name (happens to a lot of kids), he likes how Guidugli played at UC and had the success he did.

The school to beat right now, though, is Colorado State. I think that's partly because that's the only school he's visited officially. Dent also went to Tulane a few weeks ago unofficially. Dent likes coach Mike Bobo, the town, and the resources being put into athletics and football there. But I really think his infatuation is partly because he hasn't seen a ton of schools yet.

Louisiana Tech could sneak in here, in large part because of proximity to home. Dent has lived in Mississippi his whole life.

If Georgia offers, he might accept on the spot, but I don't think that happens. So then it becomes a matter of if Indiana or Purdue offer, or another power five comes in late. That could shake everything up. If none of that happens, Cincinnati has to get him on an official. Then we'll see what quick decision he makes. So really impossible to predict right now.

Full story coming.
