Guys, I spoke a little earlier with Hamilton Southeastern (Ind.) three-star defensive end Madison Norris. He's a big priority for UC and you can tell that from the amount of retweets the Bearcats' twitter feeds have made of him.

Norris has had a top six of UC, Indiana, Missouri, Rutgers, Purdue and Tennessee for about a month now. Of those, the only two he has not visited recently are Cincinnati and Tennessee. He's still been to to UC twice, though.

Norris told me he likes the opportunity to play early that he'd have with the Bearcats. He last visited in the spring and said coach Luke Fickell and assistants Al Washington and Gino Guidugli have all had a hand in recruiting him. I get the sense that Norris likes how they've recruited him so far. Now the biggest thing is getting him back on campus and right now, nothing is set, though he said he will get back to the Queen City.

It sounds like Indiana is the favorite. He told me that's the one official he knows he's gonna take and it will be for one of the Hoosiers' first couple of games, either Ohio State or two weeks later for FIU. He's also trying to get to Mizzou for the South Carolina game Sept. 9.

The interesting thing with Norris is he said he wants to get into computer animation, to design clothes and shoes. So that will weigh heavily in his decision.

Full story coming, but sounds like UC gas ground to make up.
