Guys, I also talked earlier with Eau Gallie (Fla.) 2021 athlete TJ Jones. Just a pair of offers so far, from UC and Kentucky.
The funny thing with Jones is he just moved to Florida over the summer from Sacramento, California. No connections with his two offers, it just happened that those two saw his film after he moved and gave him offers.
This one is super early. Jones' recruitment hadn't really taken off in California, but now, he has the two offers. He told me he doesn't know much about either. With the Bearcats, it's been more just an impression based on what he's seen. Jones knows about UC;'s success last season, which definitely impressed him. He also likes the coaches and what he's seen from them so far. He's hoping to see both UC and UK this fall.
I've essentially just got a story coming, introducing Jones. There really isn't a lot going on here...yet. But I've got a feeling he's gonna see his recruitment pick up soon.
