Guys, I just got off the phone a few minutes ago with Bradley (OH) 2019 TE/DL Zach Hummel Cincinnati offered last Monday. Louisville offered a few days before that and Toledo offered last Tuesday.

Hummel said he visited UC Oct. 21 for the SMU game. Part of that was because his dad, John Hummel, played at SMU in the late 80s, after the Death Penalty was issued there. But Hummel said he's been talking to the Bearcats for a while. Mostly, it's been assistant Al Washington, but he's also talked to defensive coordinator Marcus Freeman, too. He said both coaches have text him and stayed in touch. Both coaches have been in to see Hummel during the most recent recruiting period.

As far as the UC visit, Hummel said he had been to the city multiple times for basketball tournaments and was familiar with the campus. But the biggest thing that stood out was the housing for athletes at UC. He loved how the staff told him how he could graduate early.

The big thing right now is where Hummel might play. He said Louisville offered as a TE, but he's not sure where the offers from Toledo and UC are. It sounds like it's for the D-line, which Hummel thinks it might be for, especially because of the coahces who are recruiting him. It sounds like Hummel would rather play linebacker and H-back, but he said he'll play wherever he needs to.

No visits planed, but it sounds like he also really wants to get to Northwestern soon. He'll be at a lot of junior days also. Full story coming.
