Earlier today, Coach Tommy Tuberville joined the AAC's weekly teleconference in which he discussed recruiting, Big 12 expansion, and the bye week among other things. Below are some highlights.
With Cincinnati coming off an open week, Tuberville seemed upbeat on how the week went.
"We had a good open week, four solid practices, as well as making some technique and personnel changes we feel were necessary" Tuberville also mentioned that they went through each of the games they have played this season, and with that were able to look for answers.
The Bearcats will find out their fate on Big 12 expansion tonight, and BearcatReport has heard several different things thus far. With this being said, Tuberville had some nice things to say about the AAC, especially about how it has evolved.
Tuberville talked about how high-powered offenses, great new coach hires, as well as overall good QB play has helped elevate the American, as well as making it much mor competitive.
When Tuberville was asked about what has changed the most since he got into coaching in terms of recruiting, his answer was simple: "Social Media and Hudl."
Homecoming is this wekeend, as the Bearcats host East Carolina, with both teams looking for their first conference wins of the season.
