UC Athletics sent this out earlier, for any of you in the Cleveland, Columbus or Chicago areas. Fan appreciation events coming up:
"The Road to the Big 12 for the Cincinnati Bearcats starts with the debut of the Day One Tour this spring.
Headlined by football coach Scott Satterfield and men’s basketball coach Wes Miller, the University of Cincinnati Athletics Department will launch a series of fan appreciation and engagement events this spring beginning with stops in Cleveland on May 17, Columbus on May 18 and Chicago on June 6.
Dan Hoard will host the events which will also feature President Neville Pinto, Director of Athletics John Cunningham and other Bearcats’ coaches, including new women’s basketball coach Katrina Merriweather.
The Day One Tour is presented by Cincinnati Athletics in conjunction with the University of Cincinnati Alumni Association and UCATS.
The Tour begins on Wednesday, May 17 at Great Lakes Brewing in Cleveland, Ohio, before traveling to BrewDog Brewing in Columbus, Ohio, on Thursday, May 18. The tour will also make a stop in Chicago at River Roast on Tuesday, June 6.
Additional dates and cities, including Cincinnati, will be announced at a later date.
Admission is free and food and drinks will be available for each event.
Fans will be treated to a program that features a Q and A with coaches as well as opportunities to win prizes and meet the coaches and UC administrators.
