From UC:
The University of Cincinnati football team's 2020 season opener against Austin Peay will be moved to Saturday, Sept. 19, 2020 inside Nippert Stadium, Director of Athletics John Cunningham announced Friday.
The game was originally scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 3. Game time and television opportunities for Sept. 19 will be announced when they are available.
"With the Mid-American Conference moving their season to the spring, moving the Austin Peay game to Sept. 19 allows us to not have a month-long gap between our opener and the start of American Athletic Conference play," Cunningham said. "The APSU game will serve as our season opener and UC will not add a game during the first two weeks of September. We appreciate Austin Peay for being flexible with their scheduling."
Additionally, Cunningham said information on ticket availability would be sent to season-ticket holders in the near future.
"We appreciate the patience and flexibility of our season-ticket holders and fans during this ever-changing situation," Cunningham said. "Information on ticket availability will be sent to season-ticket holders in the next 10 days."
