UC dips into Florida again

Cincinnati (Ohio) Princeton three-star WR Elijah Ball has a UC offer and will camp with the Bearcats later this month. He says this is an important camp/visit.

Southfield, Mich., three-star safety Dior Johnson has yet to visit Cincinnati, but he has the Bearcats in his current top three. He is looking to get a visit in sometime this summer.

Rivals250 OL George Brown holds more than 40 offers but says UC is very much in the picture following this weekend's visit.

Just got off the phone with Taylor Boose out of Clifton (Va.) Centreville and he has committed to UC. I'll have a story shortly.

Taylor Boose from Centreville High school in Virginia has committed to Cincinnati. Boose is listed as a FB but really in the offense his school runs he is the power back of the team while they also have to speed backs. This is a big pickup he has size/speed/power, he can out run you or flat run over you.

2016 PA OLB, with an offer from Temple, camped at Cincinnati and could be an offer kid down the line.

Cincinnati (OH) St. Xavier QB Sean Clifford is a name to know in the 2017 recruiting class. Recently camped at UC and talked about his familiarity with the program. Also recently landed his first offer from Akron.

Will be tough to beat Notre Dame if they offer but outside of that, UC seems to have his attention.

Just got confirmation from Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) WR James Gardner that he has committed to Cincinnati.

Auburn (Ala.) DE Griffin Riggs committed to UC this morning and he spoke with me about his decision.

3* Watkinsville (Ga.) North Oconee RB Kawon Bryant made a two-day visit earlier this week and is loving him some Bearcats now.



Bryant feels comfortable at UC

I can't really prove that he's the fastest, but if there is anyone out there faster than Auburn Hills (Mich.) Avondale three-star RB Joshuwa Holloman, I have yet to see them. The 5-11, 185-pound back is the two-time defending Michigan High School 100-meter champ, and has been clocking 4.2 40-yard dashes going back to last summer's Alabama camp. A lot of schools like Holloman, but most have been hesitant to pull the trigger on an offer - my assumption is they want to make sure he is a football player and not just a track star playing football.

Cincinnati was convinced after watching Holloman at the Sound Mind Sound Body camp last week, and extended an offer. He talks about that in the article below.

Cincinnati added a pledge over the weekend from three-star Oakwood (Ga.) West Hall TE Hunter Atkinson. I'm supposed to be speaking with him more in-depth today about his pledge.

This is a guy I could see committing to uc at some point this week. Has already made multiple visits to uc and the city of cincy over the summer. He was already very high on uc before finally gaining a offer Sunday making it his 10th. So far uc is his highest offer.

Rumor is that 2014 LB and early enrollee to WVU Davonte James is transferring to UC over a position conflict. WVU coaching changed had him moved to DE but he feels he must play LB. Would be a big get for the cats.
