Football Staff Pool

I will admit I don't get too much into the weeds in this stuff. But when I saw UCF have Scott Frost a 2.3 million dollar staff pool I had to do a double take because I had recalled we gave Satterfield significantly more. I looked it up and Satts staff POOL is over 7 million,... Triple that of UCF. Are we overpaying/ paying what necessary, average or is UCF drastically under paying?
