Hey all, as I've posted previously, I'll be spending a lot of time catching up with the visitors from this past weekend, over the coming weeks. The first one I just happened to make contact with is Worthington (OH) DT Francis Brewu, who picked up a UC offer during the junior day yesterday. He has seven total offers right now.

Brewu told me he went to camp last summer at UC, but didn't see a lot, so this was his first thorough look at the school. He didn't get into a ton of specifics on the visit itself, but said he talked one-on-one with coach Scott Satterfield for 10 minutes, which is when the offer was made. Brewu talked a ton about how impressed he was that Satterfield told him he watched film of every player that was offered yesterday. Satterfield even talked about specifics from the film. Brewu told me he doesn't know any other head coaches who do that. I know a lot do, but I get his point, since many also leave it to the coordinators or assistants to watch recruit film.
Assistant coach Walter Stewart is the lead recruiter here and Brewu said they've really gotten along. "Coach Stewart was a great guy, very nice," Brewu told me. "You can tell he’s a great coach and one I’d love to get to know more."
It just seems like this visit has really thrust the Bearcats to the top of the list right now. Five of the offers Brewu has are from the MAC. He just visited Ohio and Miami (OH), but since he saw Miami, the coach recruiting him left. Iowa State is the other power five school that has offered. Brewu will be at Pittsburgh this weekend and he thinks an offer could come from that. That wouldn't surprise me. So UC is in at a great time here. But it's still early and he'll visit a lot more schools this spring.
Full story coming.
