Construction Updates Inside the Stadium and Outside the Stadium
You will see in the stadium that many seats and an area of the field on the Northwest End are under construction. Additional ADA seating, including new loge-style seating, is being installed in the lower bowl. Season ticket members impacted by these revamped sections will be contacted directly by a UC Athletics representative to discuss accommodations for the upcoming season. The project will be completed in time for the fall.
Additionally, the university has undertaken an O'Varsity Way/Victory Plaza renovation project, stretching from the Gettler Stadium crosswalk at Corry Boulevard to the Lindner Athletics Center, between Sheakley Lawn and the Trabert-Talbert Tennis Center. The brick walkway is being replaced and redesigned with new concrete and architectural concrete banding to match the existing hardscape language on the east side of Fifth Third Arena. Additional landscape, fencing, and utilities work will also be completed. Completion is expected in late summer 2024.
